# Take the busywork off your plate. _Keep the judgment._

**I build AI that learns how your business runs**, then handles the email, documents, invoices, and reporting that eat your week. You get hours back every week, and it starts with one call.

## The week disappears into work nobody chose.

The same report gets **rebuilt by hand** every single month.

Inquiries land at nine at night and get answered at nine the next morning, **if they get answered at all**.

The answer already exists, in a document **nobody can find**.

The website looks fine and **still brings nobody in**.

None of this calls for a bigger team. It calls for the right tool, scoped properly, and built for how one business actually works.

## Scoped and built by the person who writes the code.

I scope the work, and I write the code that ships. Production systems in 2 to 4 weeks, owned outright by you, with support whenever it helps.

- 2–4 Weeks per build

## Hand over the work you never chose.

Every one of these runs on what your business already knows: your past emails, your pricing, your templates, your clients. The AI learns that first, so its drafts sound like you and its reports come from your own records.

- **Email.** Replies drafted in your voice, sorted by what needs you and what doesn't.
- **Documents and RFPs.** First drafts of proposals, bids, and reports, built from the ones you've already won.
- **Invoices.** Billing drafted from the job record, ready for your review.
- **Insights.** A plain answer to "how are we doing?" from your own numbers, on the schedule you pick.
- **Outreach and marketing.** Follow-ups, posts, and campaigns that go out on schedule.
- **Second opinions.** An adversarial review of a bid before it ships, and a read on what competitors say publicly.

### One call. One working answer.

The micro discovery is a single working session on your business. You get a map of where your hours go, the two or three jobs to hand over first, and a working draft of one of them.

Price **$750** after a free 20-minute call to see if it fits

You get A time-back map, a ranked list of quick wins, and one working draft (an email reply, a proposal section, or a weekly report) made from your real material.

Turnaround Within a week of the working session.

Then Build the rest at a quoted price, or stop there and keep what you got.

[Book a discovery call](https://www.aippliedlabs.com/#start)

Each system after that is its own fixed-price phase, from $2,500 to $8,500. Stopping after one phase is a normal outcome. [See every price →](https://www.aippliedlabs.com/pricing)

## Six ways to get the week back.

Every engagement starts as a conversation and ends as working software the client owns. Support afterward is optional. You own the code, and it keeps running with or without a subscription.

### Websites

Built from scratch for one business, never dragged out of a template. Fast on every device, shipped in weeks, and handed over as code the client keeps for good.

[Design and build →](https://www.aippliedlabs.com/services/ai-websites)

### Getting found

People don't only search Google any more. They ask ChatGPT who to hire. Sites get built and structured so both kinds of search can find a business, understand it, and recommend it by name.

[Websites and AI search →](https://www.aippliedlabs.com/services/ai-websites)

### Company Brain

Every business runs on knowledge scattered across documents and stuck in people's heads. A company brain gathers it into one place staff can question in plain language. It also gives every AI tool working alongside the team the context to be genuinely useful.

[The layer everything else builds on →](https://www.aippliedlabs.com/services/company-brain)

### Chatbots and agents

A chatbot on the site that answers like someone who actually works there. Agents that catch inquiries after hours, sort what comes in, and handle the work that should not wait until Monday morning.

[Answer, triage, route →](https://www.aippliedlabs.com/services/ai-chatbots-and-agents)

### Winning and keeping clients

Catching inquiries the moment they land, following up without anyone having to remember, and bringing past clients back. Plus the social and advertising work that puts a business in front of people to begin with.

[Capture, follow up, return →](https://www.aippliedlabs.com/services/lead-follow-up)

### Reducing the burden of running your business

The administrative weight that quietly eats a week: re-entering the same data, chasing paperwork, rebuilding the same report every month. Each engagement finds where the hours actually go, then takes that work off the desk.

## What actually gets installed.

The six above are the outcome. These eight are the parts that produce it. Each one is scoped, built, and handed over on its own, and most engagements install three or four rather than all eight.

### Lead engine

Every inquiry lands in one place the moment it arrives, tagged by where it came from, with a first reply already sent.

- **You get:** A capture form, routing rules, and a first reply that goes out in under a minute.
- **Plugs into:** Your website, email, phone, and social inboxes.
- **Live in:** Two to four weeks.

### Quote to close

Every open job on one board with the next action and who owes it, so nothing sits waiting on a follow-up nobody remembered to send.

- **You get:** A board of every open job, the next action on each, and reminders that fire without being set.
- **Plugs into:** Your CRM, or a new one if there isn't one yet.
- **Live in:** Two to four weeks.

### First thirty days

A new client's first month runs on rails. The welcome, the intake, the access, and the kickoff each fire off the step before them instead of being remembered.

- **You get:** A sequence that runs a client's first month: welcome, intake, access, kickoff, and check-ins.
- **Plugs into:** Email, your calendar, and wherever documents already live.
- **Live in:** Two to four weeks.

### Delivery line

The same path from signed to delivered every time, with each stage dated and visible to both sides, so nobody has to ask where a job stands.

- **You get:** One path every job follows, each stage dated, on a page the client can see.
- **Plugs into:** Your project tracker, or a new one if there isn't one yet.
- **Live in:** Two to four weeks.

### AI teammate

Answers on the site and in the inbox that sound like someone who works there. It handles what it can, books what it's allowed to, and hands over what needs a person.

- **You get:** A chat on the site and in the inbox that answers from your material and books what it's allowed to.
- **Plugs into:** Your website, inbox, and calendar.
- **Live in:** Two to four weeks.

### Operating hub

One place holding the documents, the decisions, and the current state of the work, answerable in plain language and readable by every AI tool working alongside the team.

- **You get:** A searchable hub of your documents and decisions, answering in plain language and citing its source.
- **Plugs into:** Your drives, email, and every AI tool the team already uses.
- **Live in:** Two to four weeks.

### The monthly report

Built one time, then it builds itself. The numbers pull straight from the systems that produce them and arrive on the same day every month.

- **You get:** A report that pulls its own numbers and arrives on the same day every month.
- **Plugs into:** Whatever already produces the numbers, however scattered.
- **Live in:** Two to four weeks.

### Feedback loop

A short ask at the right moment, scored and tracked over time, so a client who is drifting shows up as a number well before they show up as a cancellation.

- **You get:** A two-question ask at the right moment, scored over time, with a flag when a score falls.
- **Plugs into:** Email or text, and wherever clients are already tracked.
- **Live in:** Two to four weeks.

## Where does your week go?

Answer six quick questions and see which of the eight systems fit your business. No email needed to see them.

Agents can run this check with the `find_first_systems` MCP tool at /mcp, or with POST /api/check. See [the agent docs](https://www.aippliedlabs.com/docs/api).

> “I love the new website. I just had a client reach out from two hours away and she said _she found me using ChatGPT._ I would never have gotten clients like this without this web presence.”

## Find it. Fix it. Own it.

### Find it

A free 20-minute working session on your biggest time sink. We work on it live, and you leave the same day with a one-page plan or a quick demo, a fixed price for the first phase, and a straight answer on what isn't worth building.

Free · 20 minutes · Ends with a written plan and a price

### Fix it

I ship work every week against a fixed scope, on your real data, so you see progress as it lands. I ran the working session, and I write the code, so no detail gets lost in a handoff. One home services build connected five lead sources to the company's CRM in four weeks.

Two to four weeks per phase · Fixed scope · Fixed price

### Own it

Everything is delivered as owned code, on your own accounts, with documentation written for the team that inherits it. The second half of the fee is due only when the system passes the acceptance test you agreed to. Support is available by arrangement, and the system keeps running without it.

Owned outright · Half the fee on acceptance · Support optional

## The ones that come up every time.

If something here isn't covered, [the full FAQ](https://www.aippliedlabs.com/faq) answers every other question, and the free working session is the fastest way to get a straight answer.

### Does anyone on the team need to be technical?

No. You describe the problem in plain language; I handle everything technical. The only real asks are about twenty minutes during discovery and your honest feedback once there is something to look at.

### What does a project cost?

Every project is a fixed price. The Lead engine is $3,000. The other systems run from $2,500 to $8,500 each, and the free working session turns that range into one number before anything is agreed. Half is paid on signature and half when the system passes its acceptance test, so there is no hourly meter and no surprise at the end.

### Is this going to replace people on the team?

No. The point is to take the repetitive, low-value work off their desks so they can spend their time on the parts that genuinely need judgment. The businesses that get the most out of AI use it to make a small team more effective.

### How long does it take to build?

Most projects are ready two to four weeks after the discovery call. More complex integrations take longer. Nothing ships until you have tested it and are comfortable with how it works.

### What if it isn't clear yet what's needed?

That is exactly what the free working session is for. Bring the biggest time sinks and the parts of the week that feel heaviest, and the outcome is a straight answer about whether AI helps, what it would actually look like, and what isn't worth building. No pressure and no commitment attached.

### How is this different from hiring an agency?

No account managers and no handoff chain. You talk directly to me, and I write the code, which makes the work faster and removes the layer where detail usually gets lost. It also costs less, because there is no agency overhead priced into it.

### Who owns what gets built?

You do, outright, including the code and the documentation. Nothing is licensed back to you and nothing stops working if you decide not to continue. Ongoing support is available because it is often useful, never because the work depends on it.

### Do you work with businesses outside Chicago?

Yes. Everything here can be built remotely. I'm based in the Chicago area and work with clients anywhere. Discovery, check-ins, and demos all happen over video.

### What happens after launch?

You are not handed a finished product and left with it. Ongoing management is offered so tools stay updated and keep improving as the business changes, and most clients take it. It stays optional, and the work is yours either way.

## I'm Kevin. I build every system myself.

I'm **Kevin Magnan**, and AIpplied Labs is my company. I spent 10 years in management consulting, building data systems for states and some of the largest cities in the country, with more than $50 million in engagements. Before that, I worked in applied research, and I started out as a police officer.

Across all of it, **the best results came from scoping the right problem and shipping the right tool.**

Now I build that tool myself, end to end: websites, agents, company brains, and the automations that tie them together. I also teach how I do it, in the open, to more than 16,000 followers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

When you book a working session, you talk to me. When the work starts, I write the code. Nobody sits in between.

- **Police officer** (Public service). Fast decisions on incomplete information, and a first-hand look at what a broken process costs the person on the other end of it.
- **Applied research and data analysis** (Research). Research focused on measurable outcomes, building the reporting that showed organizations what was actually worth acting on.
- **Management consulting** (Consulting). Large-scale modernization programs and data systems for states and major cities, with more than $50 million in engagements.
- **Founder, AIpplied Labs** (Now). AI and web applications, internal tools, and automations, built for my own ventures and for client businesses. Projects ship in 2 to 4 weeks.

> “Years spent watching organizations spend millions on technology that could have shipped in weeks, if someone had scoped it right. Running like a modern operation shouldn't take an enterprise budget.”
